80th Independence Day of India – Flag Hoisting Ceremony

The Consulate General of India, Durban warmly invites Indian nationals and friends of India to join the Flag Hoisting Ceremony marking the 80th Independence Day of India.
The ceremony will be held on Saturday, 15 August 2026, from 8:30 AM onwards at India House, 408 Innes Road, Morningside, Durban.
Members of the community are encouraged to be part of this important national occasion as we commemorate India's Independence and celebrate the spirit of unity, patriotism and shared heritage.
