The Invest India 2026 programme in Durban showcased India’s expanding investment opportunities across key sectors, including electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, defence, textiles, finance and banking.
The programme brought together stakeholders from the government, business and investment communities, highlighting India’s economic growth, emerging opportunities and potential for collaboration. It also provided a platform to strengthen economic ties and investment partnerships between India and South Africa, while encouraging greater engagement between businesses and investors from both countries.
